The Grand Canyon edition of my Who Pooped in the Park series was just awarded 2026 Book of the Year Award in the Fun Educational Nature Books category by Creative Child Magazine!
Unlike many other award programs, Creative Child Magazine doesn’t use a single reviewer or a small in-house panel to judge submitted products. Instead, they have over 60 parents and educators review submissions and provide their feedback. As their website states:
This collective review process gives a more comprehensive and realistic evaluation, helping parents make informed decisions about which products to bring into their homes. It’s an approach that values input from those who truly understand what makes a product both educational and enjoyable for children.
This isn’t the first time a Who Pooped book has won a Creative Child Book of the Year Award. Last year, it was the Yellowstone book.
