The original Yellowstone edition of Who Pooped in the Park?, illustrated by Elijah Brady Clark, was the first one in the series to sell 100,000 copies. This edition has all-new illustrations from Robert Rath, who illustrated most of the rest of the series.
The book follows Michael and Emily on a trip to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. Michael tries to deal with his fear of grizzly bears as Mom and Dad teach him and his sister about the wildlife in the park—without ever getting close enough to be scared.
In their “close encounters of the poopy kind,” the family learns about a variety of animals, and readers will become familiar with their tracks and the droppings they leave behind (scats). This Yellowstone edition features:

A few book signing observations from Yellowstone
Last week I made my annual pilgrimage to Yellowstone Park to sign Who Pooped in the Park? books. Signings at places like this are very different from bookstore events. I especially get a kick out of the questions people ask, starting, of course, with “Where’s the bathroom?”
