Use of AI on this site

Generative AI was used for portions of some of the blog post header images on this site. There is no written AI/LLM content on any of my sites or in any of my writing. This includes all of my books, articles, blog posts, article summaries, and any other written content.

I may, at times, use AI as a starting point for research purposes. Like Wikipedia, AI tools are useful for finding primary sources, but I make a point of verifying everything I learn through AI using traditional research methods.

Personal statement

I have no conceptual objection to large language models or generative artificial intelligence, unless they are being used to deprive creative humans of their livelihood. I pay human artists to do my book covers. I get my stock images from legitimate stock photo sites.
