I received California Teaching Credential #342745 in Computer & Related Technologies in 1987 based on my industry experience. I have now taught at three colleges and guest lectured at UC Berkeley (California) and Northwest College (Wyoming).
De Anza College (California): I taught a course in Advanced Programming for the HP 2000 Access System in 1979-1980. The course was set up through the Staff Development department, so a credential wasn’t necessary.
West Valley College (California): After receiving my credential, I taught multiple courses in Computer-Aided Transcription from 1987 to 1989.
Rocky Mountain College (Montana): Despite my credential having expired, I taught Enterprise Programming in the Degree Completion program.
